'Telling the Truth about God', a short book about how #Quakers balance different needs in their ways of speaking about the Divine, came out in March this year and has now sold around 600 copies. That's about one for every local Quaker meeting in Britain. https://www.johnhuntpublishing.com/christian-alternative-books/our-books/quaker-quicks-telling-truth-about-god
My next book in the #Quaker Quicks series is called 'Quakers Do What! Why?' and it's in production (getting a cover design). It uses a question and answer format to give short, accessible responses to lots of common questions about Quakerism. Publication spring/summer next year.
'Between Boat and Shore', my novel about love and community in Neolithic Orkney was published as an eBook earlier this year, by @ManifoldPressUK. A print on demand paperback version is in progress, hopefully ready for September. https://manifoldpress.co.uk/book/between-boat-and-shore/ #LGBTQ #romancenovels
A poem of mine about complex life and faith, 'Multiple Belongings', has been accepted for publication in The Blue Mountain Review this October. http://www.southerncollectiveexperience.com/the-blue-mountain-review/ @TSCETweets #poetry
At the moment I'm mostly working on another volume for the Brill Research Perspectives in Quaker Studies series - this one will be on liberal #Quaker #theology. You can see the previous one here: https://brill.com/view/journals/rpqs/1/3/article-p1_1.xml #QuakerStudies #AmWriting
I hope there will be another Quaker Quicks book using the same material, and I am letting other ideas about future novels and autoethnography and multiple religious belonging and poetry books simmer on the back of the stove. And writing book reviews and chapters and so on.

My next Brill book, on liberal Quaker theology and currently called 'Theology From Listening' is now with readers - editor and peer reviewers on the formal side, and some friends for the informal side. Publication date to be confirmed soon.
'Quakers Do What! Why?' will be published by @christianityjhp on July 31st 2020.
As some friends have already picked up, I am doing research and thinking and drafting for another novel. (Not a sequel to Between Boat and Shore, although people have asked!) Early days but if my adorable fictional disaster queers and their horses get sorted I'll let you know.
Quakers Do What! Why? is now available for preorder! Let me know if you're interested in a review copy. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Quaker-Quicks-Quakers-What-Why/dp/1789044057/
According to @MaggyWhitehouse: "If you want Quakers 101, 'Quakers Do What! Why?' is it. Rhiannon Grant covers all bases, writing in a friendly and accessible style. I thought I knew a lot about Quakers but obviously I didn’t! Most informative."

My Quaker Quicks book about liberal Quaker theology, 'Hearing the Light', has been submitted to the publisher, hopefully to appear in 2021. The Brill book was made possible by study leave from @WoodbrookeUK and the Quaker Quicks follow-up by a grant from @Soc_of_Authors.
