4 months ago I made a thread about the probabilities of people starting with a simple "Hi" making a booking. It had many flaws and incomplete data so I came back at it and included e-mails and a better analysis this time, like what's their hourly worth and more.
Let's go

Let's go

Here's the other thread in case you want to check, it covered whatsapp and SMS only: https://twitter.com/littlemisslilu/status/1102205529080975365
The main difference between e-mail and quick text messages is that people tend to use quick text messages more like a "chat" and e-mails more like a traditional letter, so the data shows differently, but in the end the results are similar.
Again, I divided the contacts in 3 categories:
- "Hi" for people who just say Hi or the rest of the message doesn't give any info at all.
- "Hi+info" for people who gave at least a place, a time, a day, etc
- "Full intro" for those who introduced themselves all gave all the info
- "Hi" for people who just say Hi or the rest of the message doesn't give any info at all.
- "Hi+info" for people who gave at least a place, a time, a day, etc
- "Full intro" for those who introduced themselves all gave all the info
This time I also counted the messages needed to either make a booking or to end the conversation (either them going away or me realizing they weren't going to book a shit, although I had lots of patience at this)
Considering an average of 2 minutes to read and reply a whatsapp message, and 6 minutes to read and reply an e-mail, the calculations are done to show you how much time each type of booking took and how profitable it was.
Thanks to @mannen86 for calculating this part!

The stats for whatsapp are available in the other thread, so here I will unify all of them including the e-mail ones. This time I merged together no shows and cancellations, since in the end the result is the same and it's almost never me the one cancelling anyways.
The ones who started with just a "Hi" (or a Hi with not really much info even if it's a wall of text on how much they like me), with an average of 22.25 messages needed to either book or end the conversation:
- 9.2% booked
- 90.8% not booked
- 9.2% booked
- 90.8% not booked
The ones who started with a "Hi" followed with some info but not everything required to make a booking (they only told me their hotel, or a day or time, but nothing else), with an average of 10.65 messages to either book or end the conversation:
- 46.3% booked
- 53.7% not booked
- 46.3% booked
- 53.7% not booked
The ones who fully introduced themselves and told me all the info needed to arrange a booking, with an average of 5.2 messages to either book or end the conversation:
- 91.1% booked
- 8.9% not booked
- 91.1% booked
- 8.9% not booked
The last time I also put out how many of them were contacting me from each category, and since the "Hi" were LOTS some people did the math and realized I was getting a lot of money from them, so why would I bother then?
Because in case you didn't notice it, now I also counted the average messages needed to book an appointment, and this is where the earnings per hour fall dramatically. So how much am I REALLY earning out of each one and what's their quality level as clients?
Considering a rate of 100/hour, which makes things very easy to calculate (so you only have to multiply it to see how much would it be for your rate), the average time needed to attend the messages and an hour for preparing the date (again, multiply), here we have it:
I prefer to start this one backwards because it's more dramatic (and you know I love drama)
The people who started with a full intro, netted a gross hourly income of 87.55€, with a wasted time rate of 1.51%.
The people who gave a bit of info alongside their "Hi", netted a gross hourly income of 67.41€, with a wasted time rate of 17.75%.
And the ones who started with "Hi" and didn't give out any info, netted a gross hourly income of...
7.64€!
With a wasted time rate of 87.24%!

There's also quite other interesting data. When I was gathering this I made some columns, and one of them was "Notes", as in if it was a repeat or good client, an abusive or bad one, or any other things. I then counted them and then unveiled their categories afterwards.
It's not surprising to discover that 100% of my awesome great clients, and the regulars too, come from the same category. They all fully introduced themselves and gave me the necessary info.
On the bad/abusive/pushy tag, 81% were on the "Hi" category, 18% on the "Hi + info" category and 1% on the "Full intro". Yes, sometimes people can turn bad even if they started great.
We have to consider that those tags come from people I have met in a booking, but I also did an "Idiot" tag meaning those people who were specially disturbing while contacting, and didn't end up in a booking. They were 86% "Hi" and 14% "Hi + info".
I dedicated two years of my life replying to almost everyone (except the super obvious TWs like the 15 year old foam guy, you ladies know who I'm talking about xD), only stopping when it was harmful or obvious TW. I'm very patient, but the experiment is coming to an end.
I did this because two years ago I was a very different person. I was very insecure, I thought I needed to be extra nice to absolutely everyone, that opportunities were "anywhere" and that a great client could be behind a stupid one contacting.
I was wrong. At least for myself, I know this is not the same case for every sex worker, but if you can identify yourself here, then I'm happy to help. I have shed light over myself, and taught myself that I don't have to give my time to everyone, that it's not worth it.
The next steps for my business will be being more strict with myself. No more replies to "Hi". I will consider the "Hi + info" depending on the message. I'm deleting my number from ads, I will resort to e-mail only soon. I will keep improving myself, and I will be happier.
Final notes: to clarify a bit on the average messages, I have to say the whatsapp/SMS ones and the email ones are completely different, so the thread shows an avrg.
"Hi" took 40.2 messages on whatsapp and 4.3 on e-mail.
"Hi + info" took 18.5 and 2.8.
"Full intro" took 8 and 2.4
