ANTONIO CONTE BUILD UP PLAY, PATTERNS AND COMBINATIONS: A THREAD

I like to call Conte a "Playstation coach" because his teams really give the feeling of being remote controlled completely by Conte. This thread shows some patterns of play we will see Inter adopt this season
Starting off with a trademark Conte combination play seen over the years at Juve and with Italy NT.
RCB > RWB > Striker who drops between the lines > Other strikers makes penetrating run.
All executed as quickly as possible with one touch to evade pressing and arrive in the box
Another very similar pattern seen at Chelsea vs high pressing Liverpool.
Once again GK > RCB > this time Kante drops deeper to receive > RWB first time ball to target man.
Gegenpress beaten in 9 seconds.
Italy's pattern play under Conte once again basically CTRL +C, CTRL + V
3rd man in defence (RCB or LCB) > LWB/RWB > Looks for ST as soon as possible and layoff to closest player.
Little bit of variation sometimes with LCB>CM but the aim is always to get the ball to the ST quickly
Italy vs Spain was perhaps the peak of Conte's football, where a variety of patterns were seen, De Rossi was often the spare man, but the main aim remains getting ball to CF quickly and recycle to wings if needed, to then cross into box or shoot from outside box.
A longer analysis of Italy vs Germany, where Germany were positioned much deeper, therefore Conte had to find different ways to attack.
Here the CB's were more direct with long balls into the CF/ST. Obviously this can only be done with a player of Bonucci's ball playing ability
At Inter we have already started to see these patterns and combination being used.
This was a prime example vs Juve.
GK > LCB >LCM >LWB>ST dropping and leaving to other ST
Lovely execution (up until Perisic's decision making)
Had to include one of the negatives of Conte's defensive tactics. Chelsea away at Man City, where they lost 1-0. The team was literally instructed to defend only with everyone behind the ball. I NEVER want to see this at Inter, regardless of the opponent. Borderline embarrassing.
Conte heavily relies on teams carrying out his pattern play. Clearly very effective, and can help elevate average players as they already know what to do with the ball with memorised movements, but can reduce the unpredictability of a team.
