Les Wexner + Ohio State University [a thread]

I'm making this thread with the hope that some of you internet sleuths can help me connect the dots with Wexner that have not yet been connected. OSU is a huge part of this story.

If Ohio State was a person it would be identical to Les Wexner so we need to understand a little about creepy old man behind the curtain. To understand Les Wexner we need to go back in time to his Ego's coming out party in 1984/85.

Numerous magazine articles were written about him. The most telling of which was a New York Magazine article in which Wexner basically says he is possessed by a demon [aka "his dybbuk"] which fills him with an insatiable appetite for greed and power.

The last paragraph of the article really shines a light on who Wexner is as a person. He is a man that loves his dybbuk and when he sees his dybbuk he sees himself. What kind of man is proud to be controlled by a greedy inner demon?

Because of his dybbuk Wexner wasn't satisfied with being the wealthiest man in Ohio, a title that he claimed in 1985. He needed more and he directed that insatiable desire to his alma mater Ohio State University. OSU was his perfect next take-over target.

His first step to take-over OSU was the creation of the private, non-profit Ohio State University Foundation in June of 85, which he co-created with his buddy John B Gerlach. The goal of the foundation is simple- to control OSU's fundraising operations.

Wexner was the first chairman of the board of the foundation, which very little has been written about. One of the only mentions of this comes from an old article from the school paper The Lantern.

After the creation of the University Foundation Ohio State embarked on the largest fundraising campaign for a public university at that time. Their goal was to raise $350 million. Sounds like a venture that needed a financial "guru" to manage it. Hmm...

Around this time is also when Wexner met Jeffrey Epstein & gave him complete control over his personal finances. Reports say that Epstein had his fingers in all aspects of Wexner's life. How much influence did Epstein exert in Wexner's Ohio State dealings???

In 1988 Wexner became a Board of Trustee at Ohio State. By this time Dr Richard Strauss was already known to be a sexual predator at OSU. I wonder why Wexner turned a blind eye to it? Since turds of a feather shit together I bet Epstein and Strauss knew each other.

As these charts show Wexner's University Foundation was like a huge steroid injection to OSU's fundraising. In half a decade Wexner single-handedly caused OSU's endowment to grow $200 million. How dafuk did he do this? He's not a finance guy. Hmm...

After OSU blew past its fundraising goal in 1990 Wexner needed a university president that was really good at getting rich people to part with their money. He found this guy in Gordon Gee. Gordon is the type of guy Les loves- nice on the outside, soulless/ruthless on the inside.

For whatever stupid reason, Wexner's dybbuk wanted to turn Ohio State into the Harvard of public universities and he needed a guy like Gordon at the helm to achieve this. The only problem is that this is an impossible task and unbelievably idiotic idea.

Ohio State will never ever become an elite institution like Harvard no matter how many billions of dollars are wasted in the process, but Wexner's dybbuk will never let him see this simple truth. His delusions of grandeur know no boundaries.

After hiring the bow-tied dingleberry, Wexner spent six years fulfilling his complete take-over of OSU. In 1996 he became chairman of the BoTs at Ohio State. Also that year he became the most powerful person in Columbus.

Instead of remaining true to OSU's land-grant mission to serve the Ohio public, Wexner opted for the Harvard path of privatization. The first step of his braindead dream to privatize OSU began the year before he became chairman.

In 1995 the university launched an $850 million fundraising campaign. By 2000 the campaign raised over $1 billion. Holy fucking shit! How did Wexner do this? Who helped him? During this time Epstein was helping him build his lifeless wetdream of a town in New Albany.

Epstein has always had a hard-on for Harvard just like Wexner. They have close ties to Harvard. Epstein spent a lot of time in Columbus in the 90s. Surely Epstein was helping Wexner with all of his Ohio State bullshit.

It can't just be a coincidence that Wexner was beginning his moronic plan to turn OSU into the "public Harvard" at the same time that Epstein was helping him with New Albany and managing all of his finances. Wexner needed a money guy for his ambitious OSU fundraising.

There has to be a way to connect Epstein to the Ohio State University Foundation. My guess is that the University Foundation [UF] operates the same way as all of Wexner's other dubious foundations. Is the UF operated just like YLK foundation?

There are so many more questions surrounding this timeframe in Wexner's life, but I want to jump ahead to the year 2014, the year that inspired me to dig into Wexner. My head hurts from this so I need to take a break and start a new thread later...

Oh, looky here, looks like I was onto something. Epstein along with Wexner donated $5 million to OSU in 2007, which was AFTER Epstein was convicted. I guarantee that this $ rabbit hole goes much much deeper at Ohio State...
