Pretending to be offended? Calling women bigots for judging all men by the behaviour of a few? Making long and incomprehensible statements about intersectionality and some crap called 'kyriarchy' to supposedly prove that we're oppressing them by not cooing all over them?

Right, you dismal fuckers. Time to get real. I used to breed Dobermanns. Awesome dogs, usually incredibly friendly, but they're a guarding breed so their aggression levels are on average higher than those of, say, Labradors. (Kind of like men and women).

If you approach one and get in its space, some of them will give you a friendly greeting. A lot will be aloof and refuse your overtures. Some will give you a warning snarl. Some will give you a warning bite. And some will rip your fucking face off.

So the next time you see a strange Dobermann, give it the benefit of the doubt. It's an individual, after all. It's totally wrong to judge the entire breed based on the behaviour of a few bad apples. Go up and give it a nice hug.
