Ana Navar ignored the vast literature on statin adverse effects, referring instead to a anti-vax web site. Her ignorance of 60 peer-reviewed journal articles on adverse effects is in our commentary:

This has been a teachable moment for me. It's not the $ that influences Ann. She has such faith in statins as wonder drugs she ignores studies that reveal adverse statin effects and only cites a web site, not literature. That is why her editorial was offensive to sci discourse.
