On the way to dhanuskodi. Had to catch it on the way begaaz the chattiram outpost doesn't let vehicles pass till 7am.

Obviously had to have hot vadai amd tea at Patti mess just before the outpost.

Reached Dhanuskodi. I made us breakfast: Aloo paratha and cupcakes.

After a nungu stop, we headed to The Bangala, Karakudi where our bed was trippy us fuck!!!!

Then was this sublime bread pudding and home made dulce leche ice cream.

We checked out of The Bangala and headed to a heritage building, SSM House.

It was almost 340 and we stopped at the only place open for lunch. Fish meals for Rs. 80. Paruppu thogaiyal, Mandi, Cabbage thoran and Greens kootu with rice and the most intense fish cury. The remnants of vilangu meen fry prove how tasty they were.

We reached Dindigul around 7pm. Dinner at Venu Biriyani. Night stay at Dindigul.

Left to Erode next morning as I had a workshop there. Boy got bored and wandered around to find this place which had amazing lunch apparently.

So of course I had to go for dinner. So hear this!! They have two properties. One serves lunch only and the other serves dinner only. Menu? Exactly the same... So anyway...

Diner with entertainment. Yes!! I had Chutney rice with Pallipalayam chicken. But the best was Pacha puli rasam/Raw tamarind rasam(3rd pic) that is apparently the local rasam... OMG!! It's the gazpacho of soups!!! Wow!

Boy's itinerary: Chennai>Trichy>Tirunelveli >Madurai>Nagercoil>Kanyakumari >Thuckalay>Rameshwaram>Dhanuskodi>Devakottai>Dindigul> Erode. Overall his trip meter clocked 2500 km.

I skipped the Nagercoil >Kanyakumari>Thuckalay stretch.
