Someone asked why I am critical of aid agency logos. Here are some reasons.
I don't think that refugees and displaced people should be obliged to live in tents and shelters such as these. Where's the dignity?
Wouldn't it better to let refugees do their own branding?
In many aid agency photos, human beings are used as a prop for aid agency logos:
Why have they been obliged to wear their backpacks the wrong way round?
What is right in the centre of the photo?
Was this a natural shot or was it posed?
Do all relief items really have to be branded?
Sometimes the product placement is painful to behold:
The logos have got bigger and bigger over the years!
