my very religiously observant mom last night after breaking her fast:

“Sex is a necessity, Sana.”

she then went onto say, VERY NON-CHALANTLY, “if you’re not getting sex, your body will know it’s being denied something so vital - and you’ll feel it.”
ALL OF THIS was a part of her talk to me about getting married, finding a partner. My mom is traditional on many things, like me, but talking about sex has never been something she’s been shy about much to my horror.
Btw all my friends who’ve met my mom can attest to how she gives the best and most blunt relationship advice.
