I've chosen 94 photos, so almost there on that front!
I've had to re-edit them all into a landscape A5 size so they fit the book dimensions.
I'm going to Skomer Island on Saturday, so hoping for a couple of bookworthy shots there!

Still writing the text to go with the first photo in the book!
Writing is much harder than photographing birds!!
There will be the story around each photo, maybe some info about the bird species, & I'll try and reflect my slightly daft personality too.

So last night, as well as editing some more Puffin pics, sending the 12 images to the printers for my calendars and packaging and addressing some prints to post, I managed to write the text for the 2nd photo of my bird book!

I'm thinking I was being very ambitious with the writing part of my book, as the text for each photo contains 200 to 300 words!
I've written 11, have 89 to go, & the hardest part is trying not to repeat myself!
Really want to do this though, so will keep plugging away.

I've had 67 wonderful donors towards my book now, and I think I owe it to them and everyone who may like to buy one to keep you all updated on my progress.

Do you know the hardest part of choosing pics for my book?
Puffins!!
I already had 5 in, and that was before I took any of the ones I've been sharing recently!

A little update about my #100BirdsBook
I've now completed 20 of the written sections, but have been concentrating on taking and packing calendar orders over the weekend.
It may be a bit ambitious to complete the book by Christmas, but I'll keep at it.

The news that Dave the Puffin craved... I have relented and decided to put him in my #100BirdsBook after all!
His sad story struck a chord with many of you, and he quickly became so popular that I just could not justify leaving him out of the book.

Parts 27, 28 and 29 completed tonight!
Still 71 to go....
However, breaking it down in sections helps make it a little less daunting, so 4 more written pieces and I'll be a third of the way through!

Finished another 3 written parts of my #100BirdsBook today, so I've now completed 40 of the 100.
This is much more time consuming than I thought it would be, but enjoyable.
I didn't want it to be simply a picture book.

I have to admit to something akin to 'writers block' today..
I think it's due to 3 successive poor nights sleep as not feeling great, so brain has gone blank!(What do you mean 'no change there then'?)

Well, book wise, it's been a slim weekend.
I'd hoped to get more than the 93rd written section that I've managed done, but the sun came out, so I had to take advantage of this rare opportunity & went to @RSPBGreylake instead!

Now it's getting close to compiling everything I've done to send to the printers, I'm more nervous
