After some work in the advertising industry in San Francisco, Peter Chan joined #LucasArts in 1991 to work on the background art of #MonkeyIsland 2 (
under the direction of Steve Purcell and Sean Turner)

He develops new artistic techniques compared to the previous games of the studio, including the ability to scan real paintings (the end of pixel art !). And Peter Chan impresses with his speed of execution.
The following year, for #DayoftheTentacle, Peter Chan took on the role of lead background artist alongside Larry Ahern. This is the first game on which he can create the visual universe he wants.
Its totally unique cartoon style denotes the production of adventure games and marks #DayoftheTentacle as an identity in its own right.
On the sidelines, Peter Chan has multiple roles on several #LucasArts productions including Super #StarWars, Zombies Ate my neighbors, #SamandMax Hit the Road etc ...

In 1993, he worked as Lead Artist (backgrounds and characters) on #FullThrottle, @TimOfLegend 's adventure game.
After #Fullthrottle, Peter Chan is more and more attracted by the cinema, he will leave #LucasArts and become a provider, but it is to better come back as Lead concept designer on #StarWars Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2
The following year, he will collaborate on @TimOfLegend 's masterpiece by probably signing his finest works, #GrimFandango. Atmospheric masterpiece between art deco and film noir.
In my humble opinion, #GrimFandango is one of the highlights of art in adventure game ... Peter Chan gives shape to the crazy world of Schafer.
Gradually turned to the cinema (he participates in the concept and storyboard of Superman Lives, Star Wars Episode 1, Harry Potter 1, the son of the Mask) ... Peter Chan signs almost all of the concept arts of #Antz (1996)
He remains faithful to Tim Schafer since he will work on #Psychonauts and almost all @DoubleFine productions (Brutal Legend, Broken Age, Costume Quest ...), but still works mainly for cinema, especially on #RIO (2011) and RIO 2 (2014). )
Most recently, he has worked for #Psychonauts2, and works on the very secret film of Dan Scalon for #Pixar, #Onward.
