THREAD:

"Effect and Cause..."

Almost a decade ago, I saw a documentary called The New Nostradamus. Well, it was called something like that, but I'll be damned if I can find it again.

Still, stay with me, here. You need to hear this...
2.

The documentary was about a mathematician who created an algorithm that correctly predicts--with something like 98% or 99% accuracy--what world leaders, etc. will do in any given situation.
3.

The CIA regularly consults with this guy. So do Presidents. About really important things (think Saddam Hussein and the war in Iraq).
4.

The basic principle is, all things being equal, human nature dictates that a person will do whatever is most beneficial for that person in ANY situation.

Pretty grim, I know, but there it is.
5.

Of course, you have to define "beneficial."

It could be beneficial to gain the adulation of your people by bringing peace to your land.

It could also be beneficial to put the fear of God in them by beheading or stoning any dissenters.

Perspective matters.
He also takes into account a person's overall psychological profile.
7.

Is the leader prone to taking risks (Assad)? Is the leader rich (King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud)? Are the leader's people starving (Maduro)?
8.

Is the leader confident (Putin) or desperate to appear confident (Kim Jong-un)? Is the leader a religious fanatic and a terrorist (Ali Khamenei)? Or is he fighting terrorists (Netanyahu)?

You get the idea...
9.

He assigns all these traits a value and plugs it into his equation, and abracadabra!

He knows whether or not North Korea will launch a nuke at the United States.
10.

So, a year or so later and totally unrelated, I started studying marketing analytics. This is the collection and study of the insane amount of data that is posted and collected online on any given day.
11.

This shit drives the world right now.
12.

As I got deeper into marketing analytics, I thought about that documentary, an episode of Stargate SG-1 (think "Prodigy" and all the data we are all happy to throw at complete strangers on Liberal platforms on a daily basis and I got a sudden case of the "oh fuck no" chills.
13.

I realized that by combining that mathematician's algorithm with all that data, you can actually reverse Cause and Effect.
14.

You can deliberately create trends or movements that people will automatically choose to react to in a predictable manner.
15.

In other words, you decide what the next most important thing is... Then you get the people to agree by framing it in such a way that you can predict their reactions.
16.

Think "Wrap Up Smear."
17.

Think the Russia witch hunt.
18.

Now, I beg of you...

Think "Contest the Election."
19.

Right now all the Dems are saying Trump will contest the election.

He won't.

But they will.
If the winner of the election is contested, the 12th Amendment states that the House of Representatives runs the show.
21.

They are planting the seed now. In all the right places.

And when the popular vote is close (think fraud), all the Dem voters will, like the programmed sheep they are, contest the election.
23.

Everyone needs to understand this: This is the foundation for another coup attempt. Right now. Right out in the open.
Sorry... That was 22.
23.

We all need to let Them know that we see what they are doing. Or I am telling you, it is going to be civil war come next Inauguration Day.
24.

You don't have to be Nostradamus to see it.

/end
Here's another thread of mine that offers a bit of background to this one. https://twitter.com/myfinewords/status/1125062963721670657?s=21
UPDATE:

I did some digging. The documentary I referenced was called "The Next Nostradamus" and it originally aired on The History Channel.

This is an article about the mathematician and his methods. https://www.good.is/articles/the-new-nostradamus
