The bachelor, masters & PhD rep the 1st three degrees in Masonry. You graduate with a “degree” bc the graduation ceremony is a mockery of Freemasonry which is why you wear a mortarboard with the tassel of a Fez which is a symbol of high intelligence.

The Tekhneu originates out of the Egyptian story of Osiris vs Set. Set cut his brother up into 14 pieces and scattered them across the land. When Isis was looking for the pieces to her husband’s body, she found all but the phallus which the tekhenu symbolizes.
