1) A not so original observation: the main reason why it has been ever more difficult to establish a proper dialogue with SJW nowadays is due to a rooted confusion of the several orders underlying a conversation.
2) The space to freely discuss ideas/ideologies/viewpoints has been continuously shrinking because these become assimilated as part of one’s identity. This is a grave issue that is much worse than dogmatism.
3) In such circumstances, people are unable to dissociate one’s stances from oneself. Any attempt at a genuine reflection and examination of a certain ideology is met upfront with a staunchly defensive stance, and is counter-attacked via the appeal to ad hominem slander.
