The @JewishChron reports that Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi of @JVoiceLabour is speaking on antisemitism at Chingford Labour Party on Monday. She said Livingstone's claim that Hitler "was supporting Zionism" before he "went mad and ended up killing six million Jews" was historically accurate and not at all offensive /2
She said Israel "is a racist endeavour" and that "Jews have to take responsibility" for this. "Just because Jews are involved, it doesn't mean we have to pussyfoot around." /3
She said the reason most Jews disagree with her is because "the Zionist movement has successfully occupied the minds of Jews worldwide since the Holocaust." /4
She said Netanyahu was "delighted" about the terrorist attacks in Paris in January 2015. "Hooray! An antisemitic outrage. We can claim it for ourselves" is what she imagines him saying. /5
This is because Israel is an "armed ghetto". Ghettos, of course, are where Jews were herded by antisemites from the Middle Ages to the Holocaust. Wimborne-Idrissi uses the term to describe Jewish national self-determination. It's grotesque. /6
And here's the sting: All those Jews in the Labour Party complaining about antisemitism? According to Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi, they don't really exist. /7

offended by these things?' because I’ve not met them … Who are they? Show them to me. I haven’t met them. And I’ve asked people and they have failed to introduce me to any of these people." /8

Put together this dismissal of the existence of antisemitism; linking Zionism to Nazism; conspiracist language; holding Jews responsible for Israel - and in my opinion it adds up to evidence of an antisemitic mindset. /9
I suggest this makes Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi an unsuitable person to speak about antisemitism to Chingford Labour Party (or anywhere else). You might hear examples of antisemitic attitudes - but you won't learn anything. /End
