The stealth takeover of the courts by the Kochs and Mercers, with the intention of destroying democracy, education, health care and voting is well documented in Nancy MacLean’s, ‘Democracy in Chains.’ She warned that once in power, they would move very quickly. /1

MacLean even addressed private prisons, ‘with no rights... detained immigrants have proven to be even more ideal commodities for a reliable cash stream to such corporations.’
