hi, im still an amateur in film photography but i really like to guess which roll film people used for their photos. since dojohnjae mentioned about this last night, letss discuss! #NCT127_Regular_Irregular

for b/w photos, i’m not really sure since its tricky. but my guess is fujifilm neopan 400. those grainy textures and the shadows somehow reminds me of this film.

but it could be happen if they set a higher iso. there’s cheaper choice too: lucky SHD

i’m pretty sure the photographer used purple filter paper for taeil’s teaser. but i have another suggestion (if you’re a person like me who loves to try unique films): revolog 460nm

it’s a pricey film but they give you interesting results! you should try it.

for the colored photos, i’m in torn between fuji pro400h or kodak portra 800.

but the vignette and yellow dominant and red~green tint ish hmmm i go for kodak portra. jaehyun’s try again photoshoot used this films too~

after researched more about soft look on the result. the grains and bws. somehow i believe the photographer used retropan320

for the color photos, my choice: kodak 800 or cheaper ver. fuji200

i talked to the photographer for confirmation:
- for the bw pictures, he used ilford 3200
- for the color photos, he used kodak portra 400 (mainly). this film is really recommended for portrait~

he also said he used fujipro400h. i think he used it for outdoor photoshoots

soft focus is really pretty and dreamy.

there’s filter for this or you can custom it by yourself to make such effects.

one of them is softar lens for hasselblad, a medium format.

Try Again’s Jaehyun definitely used kodak portra 400/800! I think i noticed the roll film reloaded inside the photographer’s contax

I think most of portraits photos use this roll film.

The camera that Jungwoo’s holding on to is a medium format camera—my assumption it looks like a Hasselblad 500CM or other series
