'Offense' is one of the most subjective things that exists.
I'm offended by common profanity. I'm offended by blasphemy. I'm offended by the n-word (even when used by other black people). I'm offended by stupid statements. I'm offended by illogical arguments.

You might be offended by this tweet.
In order to think and articulate those thoughts, you have to be able to risk offending people.

Restrictions on free speech are direct restrictions on your ability to think and converse.
'Hate speech' is VERY narrowly defined. As it should be.

Expanding its definition is totalitarian and a gigantic step backwards.
