Kovalev was busy hacking our election infrastructure and deploying malware in Florida, Illinois, Georgia and Iowa 
GRU officer, Pavel Vyacheslavovich Yershov, attended the Hacking event held in the Kremlin. He configured the X- Agent used for the DNC hack.
Yershovâs commander was Dmitriy Sergeyevich Badin who was the Asst. Head of Dept for Russiaâs Geopolitical Hacking operation 
Ruslan Stoyanov was at the conference in 2014 - he was arrested by the FSB on treason charges along w Docuchayev for passing info to the US. Stoyanov headed the investigation team at Kaspersky Lab 
A young security researcher named Alisa Andreevna Shevchenko, was one of the Russians sanctioned by the Obama administration in retaliation for the GRUâs 2016 election interference campaign.
Shevchenko AKA Alisa Esage, ran a firm called Esage Lab, and later ZOR Security âDigital Weapons and Defense.â She delivered a talk at 2014 conference on an arcane semi-automated research method called âfuzzingâ that, properly done, can rapidly locate software security holes
Shevchenko discovered âzero-daysâ vulnerability in software in critical infrastructure and won first place 
Although Shevchenko denied any involvement she was in the same place/time as the GRU agents involved and possessed the necessary specific skill set..
Positive Technologies developed a test for remote banking w real banking system analog and included vulnerabilities. It took hackers 4 hrs to steal Rubles. Anatoly Katyushin and Omar Ganiev 
won. Katyushin got a job w Kaspersky after the conference...

Itâs amazing to me that we refuse to address the ease of hacking a voting machine and yet a student - not yet with the GRU- can hack our infrastructure, nuclear plants, railroad, banks, planes... Perhaps we can address this issue without being accused of disinformation
