I love SNEAKERS so much
such an underrated score
I love the slow realization that the weird aspect-ratio flashback at the beginning of SNEAKERS was really a TV screen-induced dream
Whistler reading Playboy in braille in SNEAKERS remains one of the all-time best character introductions
the security guard watching TOUCH OF EVIL is masterful foreshadowing in SNEAKERS
another great character moment in SNEAKERS: Martin (Robert Redford) trying to be cool and slide over the counter and slipping off instead
huge fan of Mary McDonnell dragging the entire SNEAKERS team
everyone in SNEAKERS accepts that Mary McDonnell's character is the smartest person they know, & she loves to own them
love the team's dynamic in SNEAKERS
Whistler is basically Daredevil in dad jeans
one of the reasons that SNEAKERS has aged so well is that it's ostensibly a movie about hackers & high tech, but the team's solution to almost every problem they encounter is basically low tech
FUN FACT: I have a huge crush on David Strathairn as Whistler in SNEAKERS
Liz (Mary McConnell) dancing with some of the team members in SNEAKERS to Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools" (apt!) conveys so much about the characters in so little time. it's such good, concise storytelling
one of the best exchanges in SNEAKERS
appreciation post for Dan Aykroyd's turquoise bracelet & tiny crystal choker that he wears in SNEAKERS
love all the blue in SNEAKERS, like shadows, or the glow of a computer screen
Ben Kingsley is right
here's a clip from the scene in SNEAKERS where Robert Redford defeats a keypad in an extremely complicated, high-tech way
