I didn’t think to much of this scene when I first saw it but he can’t use magic right? Felix warned way back that if he used it before it healed it would break
That crystal must’ve drained Garfiel of his magic since he went back to his original form and his attack was a lot weaker

He is now able to use his sloth witch factor which he got from killing Betelgeuse but he can’t spam it since it weakened him a lot

Garfiel enters the trial and there he finds out the real reason his mother left, it was to look for their father and not for happiness which was what Garfiel though it was

We finally got to see what Subaru was doing when he left Emilia and I love their relationship so much

I’m not going to think to much about this text but when I think of witch, the witch of envy comes into mind so I’m not sure who’s the mother, I know we’ll find out one day
I love these parallels so much
This was another amazing episode 10/10 if I do say so myself, There’s something about this second half that is making me like Subaru’s character even more so he’s definitely making it higher into one of my favorites
